ES BOL NOU

This is a sandy beach with a red stone cliff. It is close to the remains of the Phoenician settlement of "Sa Caleta". The beach has also lent its name to the much-liked restaurant beside it.
This pretty cove is surrounded by cliffs. You have to go quite far out to sea to be covered by water, making this fine sandy beach ideal for families. Many people also cover themselves in mud here, which has purifying properties. Close to Sa Caleta, 10 km from San José.
